ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Aim
Prioritizing maternal nutrition to break the intergenerational cycle of malnutrition, by leveraging on the symbiotic relationship of mother and child
Target Group
A pregnant woman, who has middle upper arm circumference less than 21 cm, HB less than 7 mg/dl and weight less than 35 kg
A malnourished child, who belongs to 1 to 3 years old age group and has middle upper arm circumference less than 12 cm
CONTRIBUTIONS
Fun Planet Educational Trust contributing towards the society is not restricted to providing food and medicines.They aim to educate pregnant and lactating women, allowing them to develop holistically.They encourage mother-baby bonding by enlightening the women with the benefits of breastfeeding.The information about essential nutrients and hygiene during pregnancy helps them to enhance their lifestyle and become a stepping stone to eradicate malnutrition.
